The concept of poverty is basically an economic one, though it also has political and sociological impacts. The shortage of economic resources among many Kenyans often means that, even if they had been the best pupils in school, they are unable to receive higher levels of education. Attending the secondary school system is very expensive in Kenya.
The aim of the Africa Digna’s grants program is to promote a higher level of education for people who were outstanding academically, as well as in terms of their values and involvement in social concerns.
